Adam Schefter, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/77/nfl">NFL Network, reports the Washington Redskins (http://www.kffl.com/team/37/nfl) and San Francisco 49ers (http://www.kffl.com/team/32/nfl) are nearing a deal that would have the Redskins (http://www.kffl.com/team/37/nfl) sending a 2006 third-round pick and a 2007 fourth-round selection to the 49ers (http://www.kffl.com/team/32/nfl) for WR Brandon Lloyd (http://www.kffl.com/player/5908/nfl). Pending a physical, the deal should be completed before the end of the weekend.

Andre Carter is a legit DE. I know he is listed as an OLB as of late and that's because he was playing in the 3-4. This could also be the reason his stats fell off after making the pro bowl earlier in his career playing in the 4-3. Think Kenard Lang but, drafted in the first round. Kenard absolutely sucked as OLB in the 3-4. And his Madden '06 attributes showed.

makes sense... again, he's not a guy i know well, i only saw about 3 or 4 49er games. maybe he's the next marcus washington (only at DE).

man, lloyd is the best rapper... EVER.

I think that's a good deal. We'd definitely be getting someone good. But then we'd only have what, a second round pick, then the rest would all be 5th, 6ths, and 7's?

I wonder how many skins fans are gonna buy his album in the coming weeks. I think Shaq was a more legit rapper.
