I think he is worth ONE second for sure. I mean i wanted that second for a pretty good rookie WR and I think that Lloyd is better than them.
Compensation for LloydBigSKINBauer 03-11-2006, 01:09 PM I think he is worth ONE second for sure. I mean i wanted that second for a pretty good rookie WR and I think that Lloyd is better than them. JoeRedskin 03-11-2006, 02:47 PM I think he is worth ONE second for sure. I mean i wanted that second for a pretty good rookie WR and I think that Lloyd is better than them. Absolutely. When I first read about the Lloyd rumours, I expected us to have to part with our 2nd at least. But a third this year and a six next? Jump on that sh** b4 they come to their senses. I have to admit, I have not seen Lloyd play so I don't know what he really looks like in a game. But the more I have read about him, the more I like him. Just posted this in the Brandon Lloyd thread before seeing this one (damn, those duplicate threads!!!): http://www.thewarpath.net/showthread.php?p=159055#post159055 Essentially, saying that with Moss opposite him, Lloyd could really do well. SkinsLB5607 03-11-2006, 03:01 PM I have been wondering why this trade hasn't happen yet, but I finally found out what the redskins are probably doing. They're are flyin' in Randle El.... IMO They haven't contacted Nolan about Lloyd yet because they are gonna lock up Randle El first and he'll be our #2 then they go ahead with the Lloyd trade. I just read the SF article on Lloyd and it said that a trade of Lloyd would free up the 49ers to go after Randle El but the Skins are genius they are get Randle El b4 the 49ers can offer him a contract because a trade of Lloyd would allow the 9ers to offer more then the Skins but maybe not b4 sssssoooo... #1 Sign Randle El, Cater, and Archie #2 Trade 4 Lloyd #3 ?????? JoeRedskin 03-11-2006, 03:09 PM Guess I would trade for Lloyd first - If the Skins sign El and SF believes El to be their best option, then, with their chosen receiving option off the board, why would SF trade away their prior year's top receiver? Also, both money and intangibles wise, given the choice - where you gonna play, SF or Washington? If you have to think about this for more than two seconds, I suggest you take up baseball. PWNED 03-11-2006, 03:13 PM nice avatar joe! LOLZ!!!!!!!!!!11111111111 i love ecto cooler!!!!!!!!!!! JoeRedskin 03-11-2006, 03:15 PM Bite me PWND - go find a rhubarb or something. I know you're secretly TAFKAS' love-child so I am sure you and he are conspiring to hold my genius down. Shouldn't you be doing homework? Sheriff Gonna Getcha 03-11-2006, 03:44 PM Admittedly, I haven't seen a lot of Lloyd. He sounds interesting, but the claims that he is soft, a locker room disturbance, and doesn't take responsibility don't make me very happy. But, since I haven't read the book on him, I'll just assume Gibbs can figure this guy out and determine whether he's worth trading for. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 03-11-2006, 04:25 PM The compensation package sounds fair to me, he's definitely not worth a 1st or 2nd rounder IMO. Just hoping we don't overpay in the salary department. John Clayton is saying we're expected to give him a whopping $10 million SB. SmootSmack 03-11-2006, 04:28 PM John Clayton is saying we're expected to give him a whopping $10 million SB. Same as what Koren Robinson got right? With the new CBA rules is a $10 million SB whopping? Honestly I don't know. What did Harrison get, $13.5? jdlea 03-11-2006, 04:33 PM Admittedly, I haven't seen a lot of Lloyd. But, since I haven't read the book on him, I'll just assume Gibbs can figure this guy out and determine whether he's worth trading for. That's pretty much my opinion on the situation. I don't know all there is to know about this guy, but I've seen some of the ridiculous catches he's made and that makes me think that there is definitely a spot for him on the team. However, I do have my reservations about his attitude. I'm putting my faith in Gibbs on this one. He'll decide if he's worth taking the chance on and if he can reign him in some. I, personally, think that Gibbs could get him to play within this system, however, Gibbs won't be around forever, so I think that Saunders really needs to sign off on this one as well. |
