There are a lot of guys that are underperforming this year. It doesn't all boil down to Brunell and Archuleta. You win as a team and lose as one. I really wish that replacing either or both of these guys was the easy answer.

honstely, carter has been alright. i think we all expected like 10 sacks out of him so far. hes been around the QB a LOT and still has like 2.5.

The players need to have a meeting and get this shit behind them. The season begins "anew" Sunday versus the Colts! They need to get their well paid asses in gear and play some REDSKIN FOOTBALL! Man up for CHRIST'S Sake! HAIL from MCUSA!

You do not judge a DE by sacks alone. Stopping the run is just as important as sacks, but stopping the run does not get all the headlines like sacks. Carter has been terrible against the run.

Honetsly Carter might just be a little too light in the ass to be effective against the run. What's he weigh anyway, about 265? HAIL from MCUSA!

'Round here we call him "Highway 99".
Seriously, he's a chump. He's got two sacks, not 2.5, and one was a clever stunt designed by Gregg Williams where Vince Young held the ball too long. Other than those two times, he hasn't gotten near the quarterback.
He's a guy that should be making the veteran minimum, playing only on passing downs and instead they paid him $9 million to come here.
More brilliance.

meanwhile some 2nd day DL picks have passed his sack total at a very very cheap vet min :/.
i think a lot of the problem might be chemistry with so many new parts. carter, arch, wright, rumph, posey, vincent (replacing wynn, clark, harris, prioleau, clemons). doesn't seem like it should be that big a deal, but maybe it is (i'll include not knkowing the scheme cold as part of chemistry problems). otherwise they're just not as good as the vet min guys they replaced. It's one or the other. Injuries to springs and prioleau and our DTs hurt, but not THIS much.

Hmmmm!
Terrible pass rusher, terrible against the run. Terrible, just terrible!
Even at my age, I could make just as much and be just as bad!
