i think you wont see something happen with ramsey untill either Brees or C-pep go to one of the qb seeking teams to set up the value in the market.
All teams have become secretive and sometimes leak false rumors, so it's nearly impossible to know who they really want. Josh McCown and Ramsey are the only two bargain-priced with an upside if someone needs a starter and doesn't like their chances in the draft.

I heard we were trading Ramsey for a bag of chips, a Pepsi, and some edible panties.
I heard that Ramsey and $3.99 get you a Starbucks latte

Ramsey may wanted to take another look at the Redskins for the 06 season. But I am sure he see that Campbell is a star rising. Have heard nothing about the Jets and Ramsey or Collins taking over his spot as well.

There's no telling what Ramsey thinks of Campbell's ability but he has a pretty good idea what Joe Gibbs thinks of Campbell's ability.
But there's no doubt that he'd like a fair shot at operating the Saunders' offense with a three-wide set. The best he ever got was Coles and Gardner.

he lead the league in passing with coles for 4 or 5 games, then coles lost a toe, refused surgery, ruined his fingers and started dropping balls,, and well... you know, he wasn't the amazing WR we signed anymore.

I was kind of hoping that P Ram would end up in New Orleans, as he's from the area and even his decision making would look like Einstein compared with Aaron Brooks. But it looks like it's going to be Brees in N.O.

Brees was in Miami today for a visit.
Do you think that Ramsey would want to be in New Orleans?
Looking at it purely from his point of view, he's looking for the best supporting cast he can find. Assuming Brees doesn't re-sign, I'm thinking San Diego, where he's up against a virtual rookie in Rivers and Feely who doesn't look like much.
Other possibilities are Arizona (Warner) and Minnesota (Brad Johnson) teams which are both improving in free agency and don't have their franchise QB.

Even with Rivers being a virtual rookie, they have so much money invested in him that it's set in stone that he will be starting this year. Warner also just signed a big contract and in Minnesota, the only talk of Ramsey was as a potential backup to Johnson. I agree that he'll want a supporting cast, but I think he's probably more interested in a guaranteed starting job.

You could be right but I think it depends on his confidence level and how much of a challenge he's willing to take on. The GM at San Diego doesn't have the same juice as Joe Gibbs. Marty won't give a rat's ass how much is invested in rivers. He'll play the guy who will give him the best chance to win a Super Bowl...something he's never done.
Warner and Johnson aren't big time QBs. If Patrick can't take the job, fine. But my bet is he wants a fair shot with a team that has a decent supporting cast to prove to himself and others that he has what it takes to be a top tier NFL QB.

ESPN: Clayton (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?name=clayton_john#20060312)
Abraham visited Redskins Sunday evening. Expect Ramsey talks to heat up.
Maybe a Ramsey-Abraham trade if we add draft picks?
