Ramsey Rumor ThreadThat Guy 03-16-2006, 02:28 PM and the bengals are pushing on J martin to sign right now. Huddle 03-16-2006, 07:46 PM Clayton... The Bucs had former Saints quarterback Aaron Brooks (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=4781) in a for a visit on Thursday. They are also trying to make arrangements to get a visit from Redskins quarterback Patrick Ramsey (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5918). The Bucs received permission Wednesday to meet with Ramsey, who is available in a trade. The Redskins are asking for a fourth-round choice. The Jets have offered a seventh. The Bucs are shopping for a backup after releasing Brian Griese (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=4322). gibbsisgod 03-16-2006, 07:54 PM KFFL: Detroit has signed McCown to compete with Kitna. Goodbye, Joeyhow about harrington in oakland? Huddle 03-16-2006, 08:00 PM how about harrington in oakland? Maybe. Maybe Collins re-signed for a lower salary. gibbsisgod 03-16-2006, 08:06 PM Maybe. Maybe Collins re-signed for a lower salary.collins wants to start, maybe he goes to baltimore Huddle 03-16-2006, 08:11 PM collins wants to start, maybe he goes to baltimore That's been rumored but I've read that the Ravens were very happy with the way Kyle Boller finished the season. They think he's finally turned the corner. SmootSmack 03-16-2006, 11:32 PM So the top QBs available left are (in alphabetical order) Brooks, Collins, Frerotte, Griese, Harrington, Maddox, Ramsey. Am I missing any one? Kind of stretching with Gus and Tommy I know, but they have experience and are serviceable QBs Huddle 03-16-2006, 11:55 PM So the top QBs available left are (in alphabetical order) Brooks, Collins, Frerotte, Griese, Harrington, Maddox, Ramsey. Am I missing any one? Kind of stretching with Gus and Tommy I know, but they have experience and are serviceable QBs I think you have it covered. The Jets have been reported as trying to pry Shuab away from the Falcons as part of an Abraham trade but that's a longshot. SmootSmack 03-17-2006, 12:09 AM If I was looking for a long-term starter, I like Griese the best out of those options. But I think he needs to lower his salary demands That Guy 03-17-2006, 12:11 AM that'd be the complete list... in order of not sucking: collins, griese, brooks, ramsey, harrington, gus (i wouldn't count maddox). some might have harrington over ramsey, but joey has no leadership skills. |
