I don't know about the Cris Carter comparison but I do like Lloyd.
Maybe he has huge eyebrows like Cris Carter and loves to hate on the Skins?

That Guy 03-11-2006, 12:25 AM man, i hope we don't sell the farm for him :( That Guy 03-11-2006, 12:26 AM i would gladly give up a second rounder for lloyd. the dude is a freak. he's got the best hands in the league. reminds me bit of a young chris carter....minus the off-field transgressions. he doesn't. he can jump, but he drops a lot of balls to. maybe its a focus thing. SC Skins Fan 03-11-2006, 12:37 AM man, i hope we don't sell the farm for him :( Amen brother. I mean if we are trying to make that final push why are we targeting a bunch of 49ers players? Didn't we beat them by like 50 last year? I don't think Llyod is the kind of guy we need in the locker room. From all I've heard he doesn't strike me as a very good team guy and if we learned anything about the Skins this past season it is that they had great chemistry and played with amazing heart. Isn't that why we all loved cheering for them so much? I don't want another 2000 debacle . . . that was an absolute disaster . . . didn't the Danny learn anything from that? One other thing. Why are we targeting Adam Archuleta? He is basically another linebacker who struggles against the pass. Shouldn't we be targeting a centerfielder type safety who can free up Sean Taylor to play more in the box, rush the qb, lay big hits, etc? Hopefully I am dead wrong since it looks like this is the direction the Skins are headed, but I just don't see Llyod, Archuleta, and Carter as the answers. Who I would really like to see in DC are David Givens, Nate Clements, and Darren Howard. I guess the latter two might be too expensive, but I can't imagine that Givens would command too much more money than Lloyd and he doesn't require a draft pick. I don't like having to overpay and then give up picks . . . I think the Skins have been too cavalier in the past few years in dealing those picks . . . I just don't think Llyod is worth it. Apologies for providing the voice of doom . . . I guess I am just pessimistic by nature . . . The best hands in the league? You're kidding, right? Even among young receivers, R.O.Y. Williams makes Lloyd look like an O-Lineman. MTK 03-11-2006, 12:40 AM Amen brother. Griffin, Springs, Washington, Portis, Brunell, Rabach, Moss, just to name the major ones. Sit back and relax, we're in good hands. :) Pocket$ $traight 03-11-2006, 12:41 AM Amen brother. Monksdown 03-11-2006, 12:41 AM no, i think he's right about his hands being the best in the league. and i would like to go ahead and through this out: Mark Brunell is the youngest qb in the league.
