Lets say, for argument sake, that Green Bay lets Walker seek a trade, what are the feelings about the Redskins trying to get him? I mean I think that he is better, when healthy, than any of the current FA WR's out there now. I for one wouldn't mind seeing him line up across from Moss...

No doubt Walker would want big money, and he's not interested in being anybody's WR2.

Did he ever renegotiate that salary before he went down last year? According to the Player's Assoc. website, he's only due to make 1.15 mil this year, and for the past 4 years he's been averaging about half a mil per year, so he's no doubt going to be looking to make up for lost time by getting *paid* with a new contract.

I would love it if it wasn't a trade. I don't really want to give anything up for him. He was injured last year but yeah if he plays at 100% moss/walker will be a force to matchup against.

Im curious what the Pack would be asking. I love Javon Walker, but his price would be severly reduced because of his injury.

yeah i'd like to have him, but he'd want a big contract, and i don't think he'd like being a #2. There was also a washington post article the other day that said we are trying to get brandon lloyd.

I'm pretty sure he didn't get anything worked out and went back to the team on good faith; ironic that he got injured in the first game.

I wouldn't say that. Does Steve Smith ring any bells? That's what his agent's going to be saying, and somebody's going to take a chance and pay him. If Peerless Price can get paid, Javon Walker is getting paid.

Walker won't be cheap, plus we've already got one #1 WR. Having two would only cause problems.
