Some sources are indicating that, pending a physical, the Giants will sign Sam Madison. I wonder a.) how big the contract will be, and b.) will it leave room to sign Arrington?

I would think CB is more of a priority than LB.

madison isn't getting nearly ty law money, so they'll be fine to sign lavar if they want.

i still have the feeling itll be the eagles. unless lavar takes a huge pay cut i TRULY dont think hes going anywhere in the NFC East unless a team is willing to break the bank for him.

If I'm correct Lavar is currently free to sign at any time. If there was such a big demand for him I have not heard of him traveling to any teams to meet with them.

You honestly believe he's not going to be sought after? Well see if the market agrees. Perhaps there won't be a market for him. But, the way I see it right now, he'll command a hefty signing bonus of somewhere around $7 million (making him one of the bigger free agent signings).

Back to Sam Madison ... I hope the Giants sign him and overpay for him. I like the idea of competitors eating up their cap space with high-profile, aging, and over-priced free agents.

Eagles signed Barber. The Giants are his best bet if he wants to visit us once a year.
