he just seems to me to be the smart, speedy multi-dimensional olb that Williams could do some things w/while teamed up with Marshall and Washington.

I could swear that I've heard in the past that he's a local guy and has said that he would love to play for the Skins. I know that really doesn't mean much when there are actually millions of dollars on the line, but maybe he'd be willing to work out a good deal just to play here. (Why do I put so much faith in these players?)

I hope we don't go after big name players. As a general rule, that's a formula for wasting cap money.

We need to find bargains. C. Griffin and M. Washington were not big names before they came here because both played on poorly coached, lackluster defensive units. Both are still in their prime and came in healthy.

We need more like them.

QB Zack Mills.

You think we can afford him?

I dont see anyone mentioning Chris Hope, safety from pittsburg. he is far better than Archaletta(forgive the spelling) or Jevon Walker. We need a big receiver, not another 5-10 180lb guy. which is what Randel el, givens, ect are. Walker is like 6-3 over 200lbs and young.

Dude, again stop w/ the Isaac Bruce stuff. He is way past his prime, not worth the vet minimum. we dont need another small receiver especially one his age.

I TOTALLY disagree with this. Bruce knows our system, he played under Martz for several years who is a disciple of the Gibbs offense. The guy could come right in and run solid routes for us. I wouldn't pay a lot for him because as you say he is old, but he is still an effective receiver. It was only one year ago that he had 89 catches and 1292 yards. Last year he missed 5 games, got nagged by injuries all season, and Martz was sidelined. I wouldn't pay a lot for him given that we could get a David Givens for pretty cheap, but Bruce would be able to come in and assimilate our offense very quickly. He knows the Saunders style offense already.

he knows the style of offense, and i think he could contribute, but would you rather go after someone else?
