#56fanatic 03-09-2006, 02:18 PM OK seriously man, why the caps? Does it make you feel better writing in bigger letters? Does it make your point more valid?
Besides, not only are you yellin and most definitely not gellin, but you're also not making any sense. How can you crap on Bruce for being 34, and then turn around and advocate for Eric Moulds, who is 33?? And I have no idea why you keep saying Isaac Bruce is small, he's 6'0"!!!
Javon Walker is not available.
WTF is going on up in this place??
I stand corrected on the age, Bruce is currently 33, but will be 34 in Nov, Moulds will be 33 in July. dont worry about how I type. Caps, not caps, who cares? I thought Moulds was 2-3 years younger than Bruce. When did 6' become big?
#56fanatic 03-09-2006, 02:21 PM Hey 56 Fanatic explain your logic with Javon Walker. He is a great receiver but what are you suggesting??
He a big physical guy. We need a big receiver. Moss, Patten are smaller guys. We need another Red Zone guy, a guy that can out jump the DBs, make the touch catches across the middle.(I know moss does that)

6' has been plenty tall enough for Bruce to put up some excellent numbers over the course of his career. It's just a lame argument, makes no sense.

nothing really makes sense to you unless we agree with you, so thats not surprising. all arguments are lame if they are not on your side of the fence. I dont like spending money on a 34 past their prime WR. You do, so what. We have two small WR 5-9ish. I think(THINK) we need a big WR.
Seems to me we debated all last offseason about needing a big WR last year and look what happened, Moss sets the team record for receiving.
What I want is a productive WR across from Moss, regardless of height, which is vastly overrated if you ask me.
Defensewins 03-09-2006, 02:32 PM I'd like a big safety like Tank Williams here. Marlon McCree is good too, but a bit undersized I think. A lot of people are talking about let's make sure we re-sign Ryan Clark, but I'm actually a bit more concerned we might lose Omar Stoutmire.
Yeah, I am a Tank Williams fan as well. We could get a great deal for him if he is recovered.
He came back early (8 or 9 months) after ACL surgery last offseason and still started every game last year. Understandably he played below his high level, and he had a high salary so the team cut him this offseason.
That kind of injury take at least a year to come back from, I willing to bet he is ready to play at his fomer level. We could get him for cheap, try him out this summer and see what he has left. He is listed at 6' 3" and 225, but Iwould say he is closer to 235. He is a big hitter.
SmootSmack 03-09-2006, 02:33 PM I know he's not technically a WR, but why can't we consider Chris Cooley our big WR?
I think more than a big WR what we need is someone who can take pressure and attention off of Moss. A 6'0 receiver can do that

you beat me to it. I completely agree with you

Oh come on Matty, just look at how big of a game changer Mike Williams was last year with all that size  ...:laughing-
bjschmonsees 03-09-2006, 02:47 PM Rod Gardner is tall and available...
