Being a George Mason student Jai Lewis is big right now. Many people are talking about him being an NFL player, even though the last time he played was high school where he was a star TE. He's a big guy (6'7 I believe) but he's fast, high motor guy, with great hands. Ive watched quite a few Mason games, and he can snatch a basketball out of the air one handed.

Anyhow, I think it might he worth giving the local boy a chance at TE/Special Teams. My roommate has a class with him and says he's really laid back, really nice grounded dude.

I wouldn't use a draft pick on him, but may be a good late pickup!

They could always invite him to camp and take a look at him.

I once heard about this guy named Antonio Gates. He played ball and he worked out OK.

Seriously though, you never know. The Skins brought in that guy who was like 10'9" last year and was cut a week later. Couldn't hurt.

proximity doesnt make a guy better. And picking a basketball out of the air is not very much like picking a football out of the air. Surface area and all. I like the high motor part though.
