To keep the conversation away from "We need a big possession receiver." I'm just going to say we need someone to go over the middle. Bruce isn't exactly the kind of guy to do that. TheMalcolmConnection 03-06-2006, 11:56 AM I agree, but that's in the Rams offense. Like I said before, I definitely wouldn't be unhappy about getting him, but we have our "burner". I just seriously feel that the middle part of the field is a place we fail to attack. Cooley runs a lot of outside routes and is a short to intermediate threat. Don't get me wrong, Bruce is a talent but if there was another option who might even have less production but maybe a bigger body that can take more abuse, I'd want to give that person a look over Bruce. skinsfanthru&thru 03-06-2006, 12:08 PM Word is he may reunite with Mike Martz in Detroit....because we all know the Lions need more WRs almost as much as the Cardinals :biggthump I think he'd be a good pick up if cheap cuz almost anything would be an upgrade receiving wise over thrash and especially the huge dissapointment known as Jacobs.
