The hollowness of the victory by the USFL was really carved out by the jury. They found the NFL guilty of anti-trust violations of law and then awarded only one dollar to the USFL as compensation. Anti-trust law allows for tripling the jury award and so the USFL "won" the grand total of three bucks. NOt even enough to get a Venti Skim Latte at Starbucks these days...
