There are some serious free agents out there right now and the skins may get some big time talent if a deal gets done. MTK 03-01-2006, 10:39 PM I just can't see the two sides not working something out at the last minute, do they really want to risk throwing everything away? We'll see. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 03-01-2006, 10:43 PM If they do get a deal done, I'll be estatic. Right now, I can't stay away from the computer and TV for more than 10 minutes. This is really gonna screw up my law school grades. Dirtbag59 03-01-2006, 11:55 PM I keep on seeing all these list that have the Skins as the 5th worst team in Cap hell is that true and is the salary cap really gonna be 92 million? Also are all you guys lawyers cus thats not fair if I ever get into a debate with you guys on the forum? We will know today that is for sure...I think???? :frusty: :frusty: :frusty: :insane: :insane: :insane: :party-smi :party-smi :smashfrea :smashfrea :smashfrea Dirtbag59 03-02-2006, 12:04 AM I even heard that the Raiders are 26 Million over. I wonder why no one wanted that job? Sheriff Gonna Getcha 03-02-2006, 12:09 AM We're actually in a lot worse shape than some of those other teams. The Broncos just trimmed $18 million off their cap, so they're in pretty good shape. The Raiders can shave off a boatload of money in just a few moves. The Jets are about to renegotiate a deal with Pennington, which will save them a bunch. Only the Redskins and Chiefs appear to be in serious, serious trouble. That said, everyone is going to feel the pain in a big way if a deal isn't struck with the NFLPA. That Guy 03-02-2006, 04:34 AM I even heard that the Raiders are 26 Million over. I wonder why no one wanted that job? if they cut 2 players and they save 18-19mill. their not really in as bad a shape as we are right now. There are some serious free agents out there right now and the skins may get some big time talent if a deal gets done. if a deal does get done we may be very quiet, cause the skins just moved a huge 2006 cap problem to 2007 and 2008. Adding new contracts just means a worse situation next year (unless the cap expends by bargaining or new tv contract). |
