Unless the nflpa is miraculously pressured by its membership & makes an 11th hr. change, the cutting will pick up serious speed. The only chance I see for a last minute deal is if somehow agents & all these soon to be free agents pressure the nflpa because they need a big contract this year. That seems unlikely though, since there are probably more players that will benefit by not having a new cba & getting an uncapped year in 07 & perhaps thereafter.
