Talk about bolstering the d-line. Big A is very good athlete and has had some great years with the titans. One question is was it because he was with Kearse, carter, and Robaire Smith. Well really doesnt matter any player really would be an upgrade. skins009 05-01-2004, 01:05 AM That rumer you heard is false. Hanesworth is the Titans best d-line, why would they trade or cut him. He one of the best run stuffers in the league and is developing into a everydown DT. Don't count on seeing him in anything but a titans uniform. MTK 05-01-2004, 03:03 AM Titans | Numbers At DT Spot Could Force Out Haynesworth - from www.KFFL.com Fri, 30 Apr 2004 15:36:33 -0700 David Climer, of the Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans have six players competing for two spots on the defensive tackle position, which could force out DT Albert Haynesworth, as his physical status and mental commitment continue to be a concern for the Titans. Scott 05-01-2004, 10:20 AM not sure about you guys but I dont want another head case on our team. Carnage 05-01-2004, 11:43 AM I admired this guy's college career, and his potential, but he has been a disappointment. Beemnseven 05-01-2004, 12:24 PM Scott, where did you read anything about Haynesworth being a "head case"? And who else on our team is a "head case" ? Carnage 05-02-2004, 03:17 AM For what its worth, I've read of a number of scuffles his been in at practices. Drift Reality 05-03-2004, 05:34 PM This trade is not going to happen. It's ridiculous. They lost Kearse and Smith, there is no way they are going to part with Haynesworth. spanishomelette 05-05-2004, 01:30 AM http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/football/nfl/05/04/bc.fbn.titans.haynesworth.ap/index.html Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was the only veteran unaccounted for at an organized team workout on Tuesday, and his teammates took notice. "It's a slap in the face to the guys who are here," running back Eddie George said. "We're all here putting the work in." ... "I'm not concerned with Albert Haynesworth right now," Fisher said Tuesday. "I only care about the ones who are here, not the ones who are not." ... "For a guy that's a three-year vet ... I think he should be here," quarterback Steve McNair said. "I hope he comes in in shape. He's got a lot of pressure on him. He's put a lot of pressure on himself." |
