Wonderlic test scorejamf 02-27-2006, 02:17 AM http://www.deadspin.com/sports/vince-young/if-your-wonderlic-score-is-lower-than-your-jersey-number-157028.php Sheriff Gonna Getcha 02-27-2006, 02:19 AM According to the unreliable site profootballtalk.com, Young's test score was actually improperly calculated. If it is true, that is incredibly pathetic. saden1 02-27-2006, 03:16 AM The story is false. (http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/3687374.html) He got 16 or something which is still horrible...fortunately he is a football player and not a NASA Engineer. mooby 02-27-2006, 03:41 AM it is false. As soon as i saw PFT was involved, i was like, yeah that's probably highly accurate. Monksdown 02-27-2006, 12:41 PM The story is false. (http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/3687374.html) He got 16 or something which is still horrible...fortunately he is a football player and not a NASA Engineer. Me play football. Me like girls. Me like Escalade. What silly reporter say? Kill silly reporter! paulskinsfan 02-27-2006, 12:50 PM Actually, Ive followed profootballtalk.com for the past 3 years, and most of their stories do pan out. If you goto the site today, you can read that Young did in fact score a 6 but the claim was that the test was scored improperly. My question is, if it was scored improperly why did he get to take it again? The retest ended with a 16. If you want confirmation that you are dealing with a dumbass in Young then here's another good draft site: http://www.gbnreport.com Duffman003 02-27-2006, 12:53 PM What did Jason Campbell get? paulskinsfan 02-27-2006, 01:01 PM Campbell scored a 28 at the combine. But he did score like a 14 the first time he took it so maybe I was being harsh on Young. OR maybe both are dumbasses. Hog1 02-27-2006, 01:07 PM Word is anything below 25, and it becomes a concern for the coach's. Unless it's an anomaly, could be a BIG deal. The talk is he may not be able to learn the complexities of the NFL playbook. Colin Cowherd of ESPN was reading some of the test questions on the air today..........................it ain't rocket science. My (average) thirteen year old would have no problems BigSKINBauer 02-27-2006, 01:09 PM well here is how position by position score on average and normal people in jobs Offensive tackles: 26 Centers: 25 Quarterbacks: 24 Guards: 23 Tight Ends: 22 Safeties: 19 Middle linebackers: 19 Cornerbacks: 18 Wide receivers: 17 Fullbacks: 17 Halfbacks: 16 The average scores in other professions look like this: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228.html Chemist: 31 Programmer: 29 Newswriter: 26(this does not count because fatass is a dumbass too and drastically pulls down the average) Sales: 24 Bank teller: 22 Clerical Worker: 21 Security Guard: 17 Warehouse: 15 You have 12 mintutes to answer 50 questions.
