except look what denver accomplished with 3/4th of the cleveland line. they were excellent last year.
agree we need a mix but i think that lang is an upgrade over wynn and can play better in space than either daniels or wynn.
how much better would the skins have been with lang playing the position lavar played onthird downs last year? at least lang has proven he can rush the passer. 2 years ago he had 8 sacks for cleveland playing de..
The point is, if he's an upgrade at all, he'll be marginal. And we're not in need of another marginal pass rusher. We need someone who can be disruptive and explode off the ball - Kenard Lang isn't that guy.

LaVar played the bench on 3rd downs, so I dont think we are going to bring lang in to take that position. LaVar had that down pretty damn well.

bring him back, with the hopefull trade for Abraham that line rotation would be off the hook! With Lavar hopefully healthy and still on the team that d would be off the hook!

I always loved his attitude. They had him beef up and play tackle, then cleveland made him slim down and play lb and he never complains. If the price was low he would be a decent insurance policy if our other avenues did not pan out. I agree he isn't the answer, though.
Does anyone else remember the game that he put forth such an effort that he got a standing ovation when they finally pulled him from the game? What game was that?

I would want him back just to take Wynn's place as a cheaper version of Renaldo Wynn. And so that I can once again proudly display the autographed 4x6(?) I have of him...lol :biggthump

How about getting rid of Wynn and picking up Lang...He'll probably be cheaper than Wynn and at the same time we will get more production.

I would go with youth across the board on defense. The advantage of having a great coach like Williams is that he can bring young players along quickly. I think Wynn and Daniels are servicable for a season or two more.

daniels is the man. If he is like daniels I want him. I expect Daniels to preform the way he did at the end of the year and pull off 9-11 sacks next year.

cutting wynn without a cba saves 450k or so even with a vet min contract he won't save us any money this year and GW etc love wynn as a locker room guy, though his on field production reeks.
