well since you want to play the IF game....

if you have good officiating, seattle did more than enough to win.

they kinda go hand in hand.

the majority strongly disagrees.

no big plays, plenty of dropped balls, rampant cluelessness in their 2minute drills.

The interception of Roethlisberger in the red zone was a big play. People say that Pittsburgh "did what they had to do to win", but I disagree. They were the passive recipients of bad officiating and mistakes by Seattle. Seattle certainly did not deserve to win, but I don't believe Pittsburgh did either.

I have to feel that if there wasn't money being placed on the Super Bowl from some of you guys, we wouldn't have duplicate threads whining about the Super Bowl. If it was Dallas getting "screwed" out of the Super Bowl championship, there would be no issue.
I have to admit You're right I would love that...

they scored in the 1st qtr (big play taken away by the refs)
they stopped the steelers from scoring on 1st,2nd,3rd and goal plays (big ben was awarded a td on a bad refs call)
they completed a pass to the 1 yardline for a 1st and goal situation (the refs bad a bad holding call to take that away)
they held pitt to no first downs in the 1st qtr.
they intercepted big bens pass inside their own red zone.

don't tell me they didn't make any big plays.

and i have yet to speak to anyone who feels differently about the game than the way i feel, maybe it's just the area i live in but everyone around here feels like seattle got robbed.

i didn't have any money bet on either team and believe it or not , i was actually rooting for pitt to win the game. seattle just got screwed, there's no other way to put it.

look the td was close and replay didn't show much of anything, so thats not a valid point and just hurts your credibility in this arguement. no 1st downs is not by definition a big play. so that leaves the int as their only big play.

and if you're saying you don't know anyone who disagrees, you must not be talking to that many people (or you live in seattle), cause this thread is full of people who don't agree.

And i don't know why over a week later you're being so zealous and feel the need to respond to every single post with the same two sentences over and over and over again (ie, you're wrong, seattle got screwed, its the refs fault). It makes me think you either lost lots of money on the game, or someone shot you're dog because of it. Well, the money's gone and the dog's dead - complaining ain't gonna bring them back.

people keep responding to my posts, so therefore i respond back. i thought that was the way it was supposed to work. i lost no money and i don't own a dog. i would love to quit talking about this topic if everyone else does.
