Dana87 02-08-2006, 03:13 PM From what I have heard from people that understand the cap process, it is not going to be that hard to get under the cap without having to cut a bunch of people. Restructuring some key players, who I think will be more than willing to help us get back to the SB. Robinson will come to Washington cheap. Givens will cost us, how much I don't know, but probably do able. I also think a CBA will be signed.
saden1 02-08-2006, 03:26 PM As much as I like JJ we need fresh legs. I also highly doubt he'll have a repeat of last years performance.
SmootSmack 02-08-2006, 03:33 PM I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I still don't think we should look past Antonio Bryant as a possibility. I know he's a former Cowboy and had that run-in with Parcells, but I think he's worth a look.
redsk1 02-08-2006, 03:35 PM I like Randle El, but is there substancial difference b/n him and Patten. Patten, i think, can become a legit threat w/ an improving offense. I don't know the # comparison b/n the 2 but i would guess their YPC, would be similar. I may try go a cheaper route w/ Curtis, or Robinson (if gibbs sees fit).

move on, he's a lost cause with a attitude.
pick up Curtis, and draft Maurice Stovall
jacobs and brown, bye bye

I agree. I'd go with whoever was cheaper out of him and Randle-El.

He is fast but he ain't worth the pretty penny he'll demand. Anyone that bitches about not getting enough passes thrown his way is trouble, trouble, trouble!
D'BOYZ 02-08-2006, 05:59 PM I agree that we need a guy who's big and can just CATCH the ball. I will disagree that it's not possible to be successful with two smaller, fast guys. Cooley is our possession receiver if you see him that way.
good point about Cooley but you need someone who lines up in the outside if not you become 1 dimmensional tell me 1 team that's been successful (in todays NFL don't quote redskins teams of the last gibbs era) with 2 smaller, fast guys?
I can't really think of 1
dmek25 02-08-2006, 07:28 PM no free agent reciever needed.patten coming back, moss and then drafting a young, hungry guy out of college who can CATCH(that means t jacobs is going bye bye)
gibbsisgod 02-08-2006, 07:31 PM move on, he's a lost cause with a attitude.
pick up Curtis, and draft Maurice Stovall
jacobs and brown, bye byeStoval is the real deal. I really think he is a nice pick.... if we can still get him
