You won't hear me say they shouldn't sign T.O. Especially if the cap goes up. I believe T.O.'s discontent in Philly was all about the money. They are a cheapskate, second rate, fly by night outfit. To Terell Owens I say this: You've tried the Motel 6 and the Best Western, move on over to the Waldorf. Become a Redskin and let your freak flag fly.
That is what is or was wrong w/ this team in the past. People came here just for the money. We need to get the attitude away from this franchise. Which I think Joe is doing.

comcast said that the redskins have no intrest, that it may just be rosenhaus trying to make teams think that they need to bid higher for t.o.

exactly wat i was thinking who would be the #1 receiver omg i can already see it "disgruntled T.O sounds off for not being #1 guy" i can already see the headlines
Man i hope we really dont get him becuase there will be a conflict between him and santana down the road of who would be no.1 i can see it now and that would cause t.o to go off the handle again. I say we get a quality WR in the draft someone that is consistant and has good hands as Cooleys does.

If Santana was a team player (which I think he is) he wouldn't care. Essentially, Moss would be in single coverage the majority of the time. You can't tell me that a team would leave T.O. in single coverage, he would break the single game receiving mark. In Saunders version of Air Coryell, there will be plenty of balls to go around.
T.O. would be great for so many reasons. How would you game plan for the Redskins offense? With T.O. you get the entire package. He is the prototypical possesion receiver except if he breaks a tackle he is gone. He is too big, strong and fast for any corner in the league. He takes 5 yard catches and turns them into 70 yard T.D.s and the most important part, he is in the prime of his career.
Also, he is an insurance policy. What if either him or Santana gets an injury late in the year? They still have a number one to go to.
If they signed him they would go from turnaround story to the favorite to win the Super Bowl and the best part is they would be taking the most talented player from the Eagles and preventing him from going to Dallas at the same time.
I think it is a risk worth taking.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Redskins getting TO if he can make a positive impact. I don't think the skins are seriously in the mix. We have often been used by agents to get more money and more compensation out of other teams.

i hope we do not bring t.o. in. He is the ultimate team cancer, it's only a time before he starts destroying all the chemistry and sanity in the locker room. In the event the skins actually do get him, i will not like him anymore, even if he is wearing the skins uniform. i would hope it's only for a one year contract, anything longer than that spells trouble.

This goes against every thing Gibbs is doing here. Gibbs is not just about winning now, he may want to win now but he is building for the future. The team that picks up TO is clearly only worried about the here and now. He will give you maybe one good season(if he can stay healthy) and then he will start his crybaby bullshit tactics until he totally distroys the clubhouse.he is a ME first player in a TEAM sport. This will not happen under Joe Gibbs!

I guess the question that you have to ask yourself is whether the current team has enough talent to win the Super Bowl. I loved this year's team. They played like 53 brothers and after beating the crap out of the Seahawks (who I think will win on Sunday) they showed that they were the toughest team in the playoffs.
However, I think that even the most die hard fans would have to admit that the balls bounced their way several times this year. I do not think that the current team has enough talent to win it all (and don't tell me that Randle-El is the key to a title). Now if you add T.O. to the equation and they look like a champion...

Now if you add T.O. to the equation and they look like a champion...the eagles thought that way 2 years ago and look what it got them.

My take is NO to T.O. Id make a sign but nobody would see it. Hes nothing but trouble. Thats the last thing this team needs a spoiled b*tch ass like T.O. When we got that guy who wore #21 a few years ago (I hope we finished paying off his contract) and now wears #37 in Baltimore I never liked him as a Redskin. I never cheered for him, and yes that includes when he would return a pick or punt for a TD, which I think he only did once or twice. Anyways all Im saying, if T.O. comes here I will not cheer for him. I will not buy his jersey. He is definitely not a Gibbs guy so Im really not that worried about T.O. landing in DC. Id say he'll end up i neither Denver or Miami.
