I don't live in D.C. or Dallas and I don't have Comcast. I guess I won't get the game. that stinks.

I very much doubt that a thanksgiving game will be televised only locally and on cable. Doesn't sound right.

I cant believe the skins cowboys game will be on cable and not network tv,and timewarner cable doesnt even have nfl network,I have direct tv so it doesnt affect me,but i dont like it

On another note,I hate it when we play the boys on thanksgiving,it's practically a gauranteed loss and everybody sees it{usually},even the casual fan that doesnt give A shit will want to give you shit. I think we've won one game against dallas on thanksgiving and I saw the Clint longley game and that still pisses me off to this day!

Nov. 28, 1968 DALLAS COWBOYS 29, Washington Redskins 20
Nov. 28, 1974 DALLAS COWBOYS 24, Washington Redskins 23
Nov. 23, 1978 DALLAS COWBOYS 37, Washington Redskins 10
Nov. 22, 1990 DALLAS COWBOYS 27, Washington Redskins 17
Nov. 28, 1996 DALLAS COWBOYS 21, Washington Redskins 10
Nov. 28, 2002 DALLAS COWBOYS 27, Washington Redskins 20

Well,I looked up the history, looks like weve never beaten the cowboys on thanksgiving, thanks a lot nfl schedule makers,I guess they thought they needed to do dallas a favor after we beat them twice this yr

Many of you said I was to hard on a Dallas fan a few days ago. Well I see it like G. Allen did!!! They are the enemy!!! Why do I feel this way? Well Look at Nov 28,1974. I was fourteen years old and my Dad's Boss was home during the Thanksgiving Day away from his family and yes you guessed it from Texas. A BIG Cowboy fan. Well to make this short he was all over me about the game the hole day and night. Even after the season I can remember him saying 'How about those Cowboys"even before Johnson every said it. He loved giving it to me!!! So I see it just like Mr ALLEN!!! :dallas: KILL THEM!!!!

Even if you don't have satellite or cable with NFL Network don't worry..

NFL Network will make all of its games available on free, over-the-air television in the participating team markets, continuing the NFL's long-standing practice of making all of its games, including the playoffs and Super Bowl, available on free, over-the-air television.

Paintrain -- that's great for people in DC and Dallas, but what about the rest of the world? I don't know about anyone else, but football is a staple in my family's Thanksgiving.

I'm not proud to say it but a sect of my family happen to be Dallas fans -- Thanksgiving is literally where we fight about football all day.

I kinda see this as a move to force the cable providers to add NFL channel to their lineup. These primetime games will add that pressure.

Hmm, that's a good question.. I'd be very suprised if the NFL Network isn't a cable company staple by September. The draw of NFL football is too great..

I have Direct TV so I am covered, but, this is going to create a cable customer uproar for them to add the NFL Network. This is just what the NFL had up it's sleeve. By September every cable company in America will be forced to add the NFL Network now. There is no way a cable network carrying live regular season NFL games will not be available nationwide.

This is a brilliant move by the NFL...they passed up a short term payday that they could have had by selling those games. And instead will use them to build their own network into a powerhouse.

This in turn will probably spark the cable and satelite providers to charge us extra for the nfl channel. Whenever something like this happens, us as the consumer, foots the bill. As of right now I have it (nfl network) and August-September is far away. Im sure everyone who wants to see this game will get to see it. Something will be ironed out.
What about all those people without that have been watching monday night football on abc for years? They can forget that, cuz its going to espn. Yes they will be able to watch sunday night football on nbc, but we all know mnf is much more special in our hearts that sunday night football.
