Who is this Jesse Lumsden?

I was searching online and found this intriguing post.

This was announced a few days ago, but I have not seen anything about it on Wash. Post or NFL.com or the Redskins.com websites.

Any idea why we would sign this guy and if he will be playing in NFL Europe? I thought we had enough RBs!

training camp fodder, either he shows he deserves a spot or he's gone. We've signed a bunch of guys as warm bodies hoping that maybe 1-2 might make the final roster, this is just another one.
