I wouldn't mind seeing us draft Kamerion Wimbley he is alittle undersized for a DE at 240lbs but he is very quick and a great pass rusher. I am an FSU fan and I watched pretty much all of their games this year and he is awesome I think he could take over Wynn's spot. He would be a great addition to our d-line wether he is backing up Wynn or Daniels or starting he would add some really good depth and he is the much needed pass rushing DE that we need. He should still be around when it comes to our 53rd pick I would really like to see us get him.

i'm always a bit wary when people say something to the effect of "i'm a XXX fan, but this XXX player is totally awesome" :(

sometimes its true, but a lot of people just seem to fall in love with guys cause they root for them too.

I see everyone is looking at wimbley...but i'm thinking he isn't going to be there wehn be pick...But i was wondering if anyone has seen video on Victor Adeyanju, DE, 6-4, 265, Indiana...his 40 time is faster then wimbley and he's got about 20lbs on him....the scout report i read says he a mid round pick as of before the Senior Bowl...this way if there is a top notch CB or OL there for our 2nd round pick we still could get this guy in the third, but as of right now i would complain if we got him with our 2nd...they have him listed as the #9 DE.....I think our coaches could turn him into a studd

I really like Sinorice. Plus, I think having Santana help him will only shorten his learning curve. I think having the two brothers would help them both push each other to improve.

If we don't get Sinorice, I think maybe Jeremy Bloom on day 2 could be good. In ESPN the Magazine, he claimed that after Torino he was going to go to the combine and run a 4.2. It was really BS that the NCAA wouldn't let him play in college.

Here some guys from the Senior Bowl that ESPN projects into the second round that we might look at:

DB Daniel Bullocks 6-0 205 Nebraska Very fluid, athletic and tough. Good player. (Round 2)
I think this guys with ST would be a GREAT combo, even though Safety isn't a "NEED"

DB Anthony Smith 6-0 194 Syracuse Tough. Alert. Adequate coverage skills. Excellent week. (Round 2) I like him better then Blackmon (better cover skills)

WR Maurice Stovall 6-4 236 Notre Dame Big. Physical. Good hands. (Round 2)
Could complement Moss and Patten Well!!!!!

LB Abdul Hodge 6-1 231 Iowa Strong against the run. Flows and diagnoses well. (Round 2 or 3) I would like this guy for LB depth no matter what we do with Lavar.

DE Victor Adeyanju 6-4 265 Indiana Flashes pass-rush ability. (Day 2) Here is our SLEEPER for 3rd down passing situations.

CB Cedric Griffin 6-1 190 Texas Has ability. Tough. Aggressive. Played off too much. (Late Day 1) With this prediction he could fall to us. little bigger then the other CB's i posted.

CB Kelly Jennings 5-11 180 Miami Solid corner. Good technique. Experienced. (Round 2 or 3) I like his background to play with Talyor, and have Moss and Portis get him up to speed.

DL Brodrick Bunkley 6-2 286 Florida State Powerful pass-rusher. Good player. (Round 2) We might want to take a hard look at this kid if he falls to us???

DE Manny Lawson 6-4 230 NC State Natural pass-rusher. Good special-teams player. (Round 2) From earlier posts, i think alot of us like him already...i'm still not sure he will fall that far in the 2nd though....

What do you guys think of the list??????

WR Moss - if he's there we gotta take him
WR Stovall - fastest big guy, a little down on him cause samardjza lined up across from him and is crazy good.

TE - Byrd - looked good blocking in senior bowl and is probably faster than cooley with just as good pass catching skills.

G/T - Spencer - both these guys are athletic and could be cheap insurance
G/T - Joseph

QB - whitehurst - 3rd QB, projected 5th round pick with lots of upside, has arm strength, already good in short passing.

S - Robinson - great football player with no position, but worth a flyer in the 6th.

DE - hali - great player that'll 99% be gone by our first pick
DE - lawson - pretty good talent

DT - tapp - need to bulk up, not fast enough or strong enough to play DE right now, a move might make him great since he's a slow DE, but a very fast DT with great initial burst.

LB - D'Qwell Jackson - might be overkill for a backup nad i got no idea where he's going, but he'll make a good pro.

I'd still rather get kampman at DE in free agency and pick up a WR, though i'd still consider drafting a WR even if we pick one up in FA.

Do you guys think it'll be an either/or situation? Meaning that we have to take a WR or DE in FA and then draft whatever we didn't get? I can see us being able to sign a decent WR and DE in FA. We could then use the picks on a DE project or WR project that won't affect us so much if they don't work out.

i think it depends on how much they cost. a #2 WR is pretty cheap, but if the skins try for a big name DE, they'll have another terrible cap problem next year as well.
