Did Joe Theisman ever Play with the Miami Dolphins?

Can any of you please help me with this. I was sure he had a short stint with Miami as a punt returner.

But he bypassed the sun of South Florida for the snowy winters of Canada where he played for the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts. The Redskins obtained his rights from Miami in 1974 and that season, he began a streak of 163 consecutive games played for Washington.

Thanks!! I knew he had some connection to Miami...and I think he did at one time return punts for the Redskins.

Absolutely!

Yeah, I think that he did returned punts his first couple of years. He was here at the end of the Sonny/Billy era and was doing anything he could to get on the field.

I remember reading once that the only thing sonny and billy agreed on was that they both hated Joe. lol.
