I think Arrington is 50/50 right now, at least he's open to working something out, whether he's wanted is another story. We'll see how it shakes out.

Ramsey is 90/10 gone in my opinion. Gibbs was pretty short when asked about Ramsey in the season ending presser. He basically said we talked and we'll continue to talk. Meanwhile he gushed about Campbell for a good 5 minutes. I got the vibe that Ramsey is likely done here. Ramsey deserves the chance to compete for a starting job somewhere, it's obvious that isn't going to happen here with Gibbs' two hand picked guys in MB and JC.

Yea I agree, after hearing that interview it seemed Ramsey was really an after thought for Gibbs, it's just a matter of time before he's gone, Gibbs really doesn't like Ramsey.

I say 80/20 Arrington is back.

Ramsey is more like 20/80.

Arrington can be a beast for us next year if he's fully healthy. His relationship with GW and the other defensive coaches has improved tremendously over the season. When asked about Lavar in the post Seahawks game interview, GW actually said "when Lavar is fully healthy, he sure is fun to coach."

Makes me think Lavar will be back.

LaVar will without a doubt have to reconsider his contract as well as his roster bonus due this spring (something he origionally said he wouldn't do) Having to deal with the Postons might prove difficult.

Arrington because he is someone who can still help the team next year. I love Patrick Ramsey, but next year is either going to be Brunell or Campbell. I think Ramsey has pretty much been writen off as having a future here anymore. I really wish him the best in the future though.

ramsey is gone as hinted by gibbs in his media press

arrington will stay because of the cap penalty that will be impose on us

first of all,how can anyone chose ramsey over lavar?we all know what #56 is capable of,can the same be said for patrick ramsey?im not down on ramsey, but we really dont know what he can do in a pro style offense with protection.lavar has already been to 3 probowls so we know what we got in him.on the post article,i would say there is no way in hell the skins down right release ramsey.in my opinion,he holds high trade value to the right team

if ramsey stays another year he'll have no trade value and be free to leave. Arrington has less trade value than he should right now cause of his massive contract and non-full recovery. If arrington takes a pay cut it may be enough to keep him or at least buy a year where he could really push his value to the point where his contract (minus the SB since the skins pay all of that) would seem really attractive (and our cap hit another year out would be far less).

First, I voted that I think that Arrington will be back with the Skins next year, I really hope that he is. I know people think that he is not very good or whatever, but if we cut him or trade him then who do we get to fill that spot?

Also, I want to say that I hate how our Front Office has this uncanny tendency to show our hand way too early. Arrington does have some of a trade value but that has ben damaged not only by Arrington, with his contract and recovery problems, but also the fact that it is no secret that the FO is thinking about dumping him.

"There's still a market for him," said one AFC general manager who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "But there's also a feeling that they'll eventually end up releasing him, so it's hard to get value for the player."

Arrington over Ramsey, but unfortunately I'm afraid they'll both be gone. If we could work it out I'd love to have both back for another season. Ramsey will have a chance to start elsewhere I believe. Arrington will have to overcome huge financial hurdles to stay...
