Brunell had a fine year. He isn't going to win us a Super Bowl, but I think he did a hell of a job this year! The question is who gets the first snap opening day?

I don't even think Ramsey will be here next year, he'll probably ask for a trade considering how everyone lost faith in him after one game. But anything can happen. Either way, Brunell starts. If Ramsey leaves, Campbell might move up to second string?

...Unless we get some star quarterback off of waivers or something. Highly doubtful though.

2006-2007 starts the same as 2005-2006 ended!

1. Brunnell

2. P.Ram

3. Campbell

Brunell is our starter. Today we found out just how bad we miss Randy Thomas. Ray Brown can't get it don't and Raymer won't be back next year. Portis could not get any holes and with only Moss and Cooley "in the pattern" Brunnel did not have enough options.

Brunell probably deserves to get a few more starts. Give him better protection and a few more passing options and our offense might be complete. Maybe with more options, our offense will become more aggressive. I'm taking a wait and see approach.

Now it's the offseason for us. Where do we go from here? Who needs to be cut? Who deserves to stay? Where do we need to upgrade? Are there any spots on the coaching staff that might need an upgrade? What areas of the game do we need to improve on? What is our weakness? Who was great for us this year?

For me, I think everyone on the coaching staff did a hell of a job this year. The one thing i think we need is continuity on our coaching staff. But there are certain aspects of the game that we need to improve on. I for one, think Cory Raymer should be cut. We had him in there for Ray Brown at one point, and he stunk up the joint. As for our defense, we still need to improve our secondary. I like everyone that is back there, but they need to improve their game. Also, i think we have a glaring need for a #2 wide receiver. Teams have learned how to shut down Portis, Moss, and Cooley, and that's why we've been having trouble offensively as of late. We need more dependable options at wide receiver. Santana Moss has done above and beyond what we expected of him. He had a nice game today, and it would've been nicer had he caught that touchdown pass. Our defense still gives up the occasional big play, and they need to work on that. I thought when Shaun Alexander went down that our chances for winning increased tremendously, but we couldn't shut down Matt Hasslebeck. We had trouble rushing the passer some parts today.

I'm pretty sure Raymer will be cut. He's old and slow. Why did we pick him back up? He was with San Diego there for awhile.

Start searching the market and the draft now for a strong, fast #2 WR, we've got a big hole there.

I don't agree at all. Brunell can't take us all the way and he isn't getting any younger! You really want him running this team in next years playoffs? That's not going to work IMO. The great dilema is can Ramsey or Campbell take this very good team and make them great? I say Ramsey. Or Campbell?
