I thought it would be fun to see what kinds of food that fella skin fans cook in preparations for Skins games. We have a large shed which the neighbors have named the tailgate shack which we watch the game. I start about an hour before the game slow cooking wings over coals and hickory chips. I cook for about an 1 1/2 hours over low heat and the meat just falls of the bones. I then mix in a bowl with Texas Pete hot wing sauce and Ankerdale not wing sause about 50/50. If you have never grilled some wings I would recommend trying it some day they are much better than fried wings.

I too enjoy cooking beforee the games and most times have a few folks over.

I like to slow cook or Carolina BBQ style with Hickory and do Pork Butts, Ribs, Whole Chickens, Cut up Chickens, Whole Turkeys and well...you name it.

Next time ya make some Wangs try this. Cur the meat down at the bottom of the Wang Drum and push all the meat up to the top and wrap it with bacon like a Lollipop. Called Cackalacky Lollipops and they are awesome.
Here's some almost done.

I use my own Chicken Wang Rub that does it all on those. PM me or email me and I'll give it to ya. They got a lil kick of ceyanne. yee ha!

You "can" sauce them but remember to always do that at the very end and that Sugars burn and so does Tomato based stuff and those don't taste good.

I make the typical Ben's Beer Brats and usually grill some steaks if I'm at my apartment. I start at about 10AM getting some a 20 pack of Bud Light on ice, and my steaks normally have been marinating overnight. Start drinking by 11:30AM, and try to get at least 5-6 beers in me by gametime. I fire up the grill around 12:30 to get my steaks going so I can have them for kickoff.

This weekend we have to watch it at Buffalo Wild Wings (home away from home) where I get there about 3-4 hours early so I can have a front row seat in front of the projector screen and right next to the tap.

Yeah, I'm a lush.

Too keyed up to hold down food. I'm not kidding. Since I quit smoking and drinking it's hard to enjoy the game unless its a complete blowout like Dallas. I am researching ways to relax or else I'll tumble off the wagon before the season is over. Brunell throws a pick. Serenity Now!
