mikeI live about 1 1/2 hours from Nags Head and have spent alot of time in the Outerbanks when I wass growing up. Spent alot of weekends surfing and living out of a friends van. My parent purchased a cottage several years back around the 8 mile post, but its a shame how developed its become. It has realy lost some of that small town feeling.

nothing wrong sportin' the PBR...that is my tailgating beer of choice. i mean, it won an award...there is a place in Salisbury - Nacho Pete's - that has the best taco salads. and the beer store next door, a 12 of PBR always accompanied mine.
last weekend, we rocked chili made with old bay and natty boh (for those outside MD, Natural Bohemian...the can with the winking guy), buffalo wings and pizza. the weekend before it was shrimp toast, chicken quesadillas and steak sandwiches.
