He calls Matt Hasselback "Matthew"? Matthew Hasselback? Just sounds odd.

I thought it was odd too, I think the only person that calls me Matthew is my Mom.

In response as he spits on the ground..."It don't f*ing matter if we kick or receive and turn around and walk away". Pardon the language, but a tone must be set at the very beginning.
