That was a Great play... I hope we see it this week after we run the REAL WR Screen a few times.
WR screen(fake)FirstandTen 01-08-2006, 10:25 PM That was a Great play... I hope we see it this week after we run the REAL WR Screen a few times. Warpath 01-08-2006, 10:25 PM Just don't forget that the Bucs had the #1 ranked Defense. From http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/DEF-TOTAL/2005/regular?sort_col_1=4 which lists the leagues top 5 defenses: (for the 2005 season) 1. Tampa Bay 2. Chicago 3. Carolina 4. Pittsburgh 5. Baltimore 9. Washington 17. Seattle The top 5 Offenses are: 1. Kansas City 2. Seattle 3. Indy 4. New York Giants 5. Denver 11. Washington Just to add to the actual posting, Moss did make a great juke. This play works so well sometimes, and then can work so horribly as well. hooskins 01-08-2006, 10:36 PM This is a silly argument, we all know Brunell does not suck, he brought us this far. But it can be agreed upon that he suckED last game, regardless if it was his fault or not. SUNRA 01-08-2006, 11:31 PM Brunell got pretty good protection in philly and what'd he do there.... I think Brunell can't play injured and he's too worried about losing his job to sit out. I simply can't fathom people defending that game he had. While there were protection issues he also missed wide open receivers when he had time. Lose his job to who? Jason Campbell? That's a given next year, but as of now, he is the captain of this ship and just remember who got us to this point with 23 TD's . regulus 01-09-2006, 02:38 AM As always I completely disagree with Daseal on QBs. Randall Cunningham still a Hall of Famer, Pele? :( 1-0 in the Playoffs and if he has a good game in Seattle...you may be on his jock. skindogger47 01-09-2006, 12:29 PM Brunell needs to suck it up and play better this week. Then again, it seems as though every single time he dropped back to pass it was on third down and the D knew what was coming. We need to run some good play actions, which Brunell seems to need practice on. He doesn't really try to hide the ball at all, but it could be a really deadly play for us if we executed properly. scowan 01-09-2006, 12:49 PM Guys, we advertised everything in the second half. We ran on 1st and 2nd downs and had to pass on 3rd down. Gibbs played not to lose with a 14 point lead and hoped Simms would make a mistake, and he did. It was ugly, but we are one of the final 4 teams in the NFC. Plus Portis was hurt, which did not help. Hopefully Portis's limited work in the game will help him get better this week. Everyone is dinged up on this team and we need them all healthy for the Seattle game. EternalEnigma21 01-09-2006, 12:52 PM His accuracy is way off when his legs aren't underneath him. Hopefully he'll be allright this saturday and our O can show up and outscore the #2 offense in the league. jbcjr14 01-09-2006, 01:09 PM Also don't forget if Portis throws that ball to the outside on the HB pass, its another 6. RedskinPete 01-09-2006, 01:14 PM Also don't forget if Portis throws that ball to the outside on the HB pass, its another 6. Yes you are right!!! If that pass is to the outside it is a TD!!!! :towel: |
