OK, go to the bathroom and spit into the sink. Watch yourself in the mirror. What happens? Your head jerks forward for thrust. Now go watch the replay of the incident in slow motion - no forward thrust.
I personally don't think Sean hawked a loogie on Pittman, and I've been a big critic of Taylor in the past in terms of "thuglike" decisions. I think this may be a case of "yelling" spit - like the guy next to me in the sports bar.
That said, if Taylor DID spit, that is really stupid and he deserves what's coming, but I think it wasn't intentional. Really amazes me that Pittman didn't get a personal foul for striking a player in the head - in front of the ref. Is there some rule in the NFL that if the ref. catches the first guy committing a foul, the other guy can retaliate unpunished?

Will he be doing that or sitting in the locker room midway through the 1st quarter because a seabag goaded him into another stupid penalty? Its a fact the seabags will try to get ST to make another bonehead move like he did in TB, hopefully ST can play a little smarter this week.GW will be on his ass all week. When was the last time a player was kicked out two games in a row? Probably never.

Only if the guy you're hitting is wearing Burgundy and Gold.

Like many who posted ... I DO NOT Think TAYLOR hocked a loogie ... the slap by PITTMAN should have resulted in a game foul .... the fact the SLAP went unpunished was amazing

IF ANYTHING, I actually give a little credit to Sean Taylor for NOT retaliating at all after the bitch slap. He very easily could have gone after him...

i cant believe that people are defending Taylor. He is innocent until proven guilty, however he didn't even put up much of an arguement when they booted his ass from the game. If he did spit, then he should be kicked out, if he didn't then the ref cant go on what he thought he saw. I didn't see anything on the replay that would suggest he spit on Pittman, but he has been accused of spitting on people in the past. Spitting on someone is the most classless thing a person can do, and w/ taylors past coming into play everytime he does something, he should learn how to better control himself.

Just saw S.Springs on Cold Pizza and he said he will play in Seattle and said he believe that Taylor didn't do what Pittman said he did! That is good enough for me! I also read on another site that Pittman called Taylor a few words that I can't say here! All I know I would not wanted to be Seattle when he lins up this weekend!!! HIT HIT HIT!!!!

Its not because Pittman said ST spit on him that ST was tossed, it was because the ref saw ST spit that ST was tossed and Pittman's retaliation was not punished. The skins are lucky he's not out for this weeks game.

Well, they always get the guy who hits first or in this case, spits first.
No excuses for ST, spitting in guy's face is dispicable.
Why? I'd say throwing a punch is worse. Does more damage.
Yeah it was stupid of ST to do that, but it should have been OFF-SETTING penalties.
