AnonEmouse 01-07-2006, 08:56 PM OK, I know there are opposing views on Arrington, but 10 tackles, 1 FF, 1FR, 1 INT. You tell me this guy doesn't want to play for this team? If he can get his head together and get on the coaches good side, he'll be a Skin next year. I'd almost go so far as to say he's back in Pro Bowl form. Ugly game and Brunell needs his head examined for that INT. Frost needs his foot examined for that shank. Most of all Taylor needs his mouth taping up next week! But all in all, Skins football on D and barely enough on O to do the job. We can win in Seattle, but it will be very tough. Right now I'm savouring the win and loving the feeling. GO SKINS!!!! We all know Jacobs isn't a NFL-tier receiver, but let's call a spade a spade here - that INT was 99% Brunell's fault. As Joey said, you don't throw back across the field - doesn't matter how "open" the receiver looks, because he isn't. As soon as he wound up to throw it I was shouting at the TV "Don't do it" then spent five minutes repeating to myself "you never throw back across field". Played QB myself and the only time I did that I too was intercepted. Plain dumb and not like Brunell's normal self - trying to make something happen when he really didn't need to. :smashfrea | |
