Is it just me, or is anyone else embarrased by the Thursday costumes? I know its for fun and to keep the mood light, but I just cant watch I have to turn my head and cringe. Dont get me wrong CP is a great RB and I love him here in DC, he has worked his ass off this season, but cmon, at least do a character that is "hard" (all of them are "soft" and fairy like), if he wants to play dress up.

Yeah his characters always are fruity. I've stopped watching his press conferences, they're all theatrics and no substance.

If you need to put up a tough facade, then you're probably compensating for something. I think he's secure with how tough he is, he has showed it week in and week out.
This thread is ridiculous, you guys need to lighten up.

I can not get anything on the skins site to play. I think its become kind of a game of who hes going to be next. As long as we are winning I don't care what he wears.

Coach Janky Spanky!!!!
I cannot understand how anyone cannot love this kind of stuff. Cinton keeps it light and shows that he plays the game for the right reasons. Its fun and he loves it.
Enough pressure on the Skins this week to win already. You got to smile and soak it up while you can.
The guy has rushed for over 1500 yards this season and took alot of hits to do it. Give the guy a break.

Let's keep Clinton hard ass character on the field. Off the field, he can be any character he wants, especially since the rest of the team likes it (so I hear).
When you've done what he's done, you don't call it wierd. You call it "a style of his own."

Dennis Rodman used to dress up in fruity outfits, grab asses in games, and talk smack all the time to get into players heads, and it worked pretty well for him. Maybe Portis does the fruity outfits to mess with defenses and trick them into thinking he's soft, or not taking the game seriously. Although, I still think he's doing it to be funny, and lighten the mood.

He's doing it to relax people - press, colleagues, coaches and the opposition.
I love the bit's about putting Moss on to cover Galloway and the Sean Taylor big ups (How do you stop Portis? Put 2 Sean Taylors on the field.)
Sit back and enjoy guys or turn it off, but as long as he's making yards, I don't care how silly he gets on Thursdays!
