I SO wanted to go to that game - that was the "seat cushion" game, where afterward the fans at R.F.K. flung their gold seat cushions onto the field. I still have one that a friend was kind enough to give to me.
Growing up, my buddy's dad was at that game and came home with the cushion...it sits proudly on a shelf in his rec room to this day...

No forgiveness needed. Our age group ought to have that one locked up. One ought to be embarassed if they are 25-30 amd don't know this. Especially if we watched football. The stupid Falcons had that crap all over the place.

If I recall, Touchdown Terry Orr socred a TD and mocked the 2 legit dance in the endzone, as the seat cushions rained down. The glory days! And they're back!!!!

Which, of course, means I'm old!
