Ok so I am thinking of a few plays that might work on offense next game.

1)I really would like to something like that pump-fake, 180 degree turn and pass to Cooley. It worked pretty well, and I think the Pats run it quite a bit. Only concern for that would be Brunell's knee.
2) HB pass with Portis! He has a 113 QB rating or something.
3)A play-action pass deep on the first possesion of the game for the Skins. Just to keep their D honest and to take a shot.
4)Get Trash, Brown, and maybe even Jacobs involved early with short in routes, etc. to keep the D from swarming Moss.
5) Bc Barber is gonna be on Moss, run a pump and go, because Barber will bit for the interception.
6)The people at XtremeSkins posted a thread about a fake screen pass deep, but the argument agaisnt that is that it will take too long to develop and their not enough time to get it off.

Your guys opinion, and any more plays that will be valuable?

I want to see Moss with another screen. With Cooley last week it wasn't the same, Cooley has nowhere near enough speed as moss.

Do what the Falcons did in their last Monday Night game with a little wrinkle...fake a sweep with Portis then have Portis toss the ball back to Brunell to throw a TD to Moss.

I wouldn't mind seeing two back sets with Portis and Betts either. Just jam run plays down their throat. Run to the weak side, run to the strong side, up the gut, and screen plays here and there. Hell, get fancy and shift the Portis and Betts all game long, to the slot, to the 3 wide out spot, maybe even a little tight end action.

To expand on this I have wondered why we haven't gotten just a few running plays to Cooley this year. Seeing as how he sometimes is in the backfield before running his pattern or blocking a few running plays would give teams one more thing to worry about. Not that he would super sucessful or anything but it would provide a wrinkle for teams to give some time in prep to.

I say run the ball right at Simeon Rice, the guy is 245 pounds soaking wet. Run his ass over. Kim Bokamper comes to mind.
Also run right over Chris Hovan. He is also light for a DT.

Tha Bucs d-line is built to rush the passer, so lets not play into their strength by passing too much.
Use up the clock. Keep our Defense off the field, since they were on the field almost the entire Eagles game.

I want to see Moss with another screen. With Cooley last week it wasn't the same, Cooley has nowhere near enough speed as moss. The wr screen to moss, and the one to cooley are ran for two totally different reasons.moss's screen is clearly called for when we need a big play, while cooley's is used to set us up in managable third down situations.it seems to me that brunell has the freedom to call that play when ever he wants, when he sees the cb playing off 5 yards or more, then he should check at the line.what this does is makes the cb play tight bump and run coverage.this also forces the safties to play pass first and run support second.this is why we need to run the ball well, this will obviously open up play action to moss.cooley wr screen also needs to be called a couple of times in this game just to get him involved. i did not feel comfortable with our offense when he wasnt getting his touches.cooley can be a game changer. he breaks alot of tackles and can pick up tough yards underneath. he fires up everybody with his strong play.it wouldnt hurt if taylor jacobs caught a pass for us once in a while, he is on the team you know:benched:

I have a play for the Bucs.
Please run a crossing pattern in the middle of the field with Joey Galloway and anyone else. We will oblige by conveniently not covering Mr Galloway with a Corner but we do reserve the right to pick him up downfield with a certain safety running a full speed with a kill shot on his mind.
We will call this the 21 Cross Kill Shot. Please be advised you are allowed to run this as many times as needed for the kill shot to be effective. It should only take one though.

PORTIS PORTIS PORTIS.........hello seahawks. :food-smil

Need some screens in there though. Always good against a quick, sack driven defensive line.
