Whoah people!!!! We are all here for the common good and love of the Redskins. Let's keep the personal attacks out of it!
Personally, I am glad she stood up for herself as I have been to that stadium and they will beat you down for no reason. The Ushers in that place are diehards as well and could give two shits about opposing team fans. But with that being said, I certainly would personally attack anyone who thinks it was wrong.

If it wasn't a Philly fan, I might not feel so good about this. But I do. And to top it off, Clinton Portis's first play after she came down to the field was a sick cutback run for a touchdown, which put us up and gave us the win. Eat shit Philly, you reap what you sow.

a few years back i went to philly to see the skins and i was decked out in skins gear from head to toe.while entering the stadium i passed 2 COPS also entering.i looked at both their names and, calling them by name said i might have to look you guys up after the skins win this game.their response "**k you, youre on your own"after the game i ended up in a fight, but irish,i have your opinion on fighting at football games.there was no other way.afterwards if actually felt good whippin alittle eagles ass.the funny thing was afterwards a very old man with an eagles beanie on told the cops the other guy started it and he ended up gettin arrested

Philly fans have been known to be the worst. They boo their own team, and fight eachother. To me they deserve to get punched in the face.
Thats why they won't ever win a superbowl. Bad karma baby.

What if this turned into a Ron Artest situation as far as her possibly attacking the wrong person? I'm all for someone standing up for themselves but because of things like this is why our crime rate is so high since someone brought that up. Very few people seem to know how to respond to any slight or disrespect nowadays except with fists and even as far enough sadly as responding with some form of weapon. If this had involved a mother of a player from another team with a fan of anyone other than a rival team I'd be willing to wager the reaction to it would be quiet different from posters on this site. No one was in harms way from all of the reports on the situation and frankly if all of us responded like this to all of the times we were confronted and dissrespected, a vast majority of us would have spent quite a bit of time in a local prison. I firmly believe in fighting blood, tooth, and nail when yourself or friends and family r in harms way and you have no other courses of action, but from the information that come out about this, this was not one of those situations. oh and don't be surprise if Mama Portis gets sued because of her response.

For what it's worth, Eagles boards said that Portis' mom wasn't exactly innocent in this whole situation. Just for what it's worth.

portis's mother is awsome. Before the Chargers game someone yelled out to her at the player lots "Hey mrs. portis that boy gonna run today?" and she said "Like HEll" leaning back in a funny tone. She is the coolest lady. THey are dumb to throw shit at her. Look at portis's mother. She seems like the person who would have no problem putting you in your place. Good for her.
