Portis: 1512 yards, 11 TDs, huge blocking
Moss: 84 receptions, 1483 yards, 9 TDs, gamebreaker
Brunell: 3050 yards, 23 TDs, 10 INTs, leadership
Marshall: 79 tackles, 2 sacks, 4 INTs,
Washington: 73 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 1 INT
Taylor: 60 tackles, 1 sack, 2 INTs, gamechanging hits
So, who gets it? My vote is still Portis. The defense and Brunell/Moss kept us in the first half of the season, but Portis carried us through the second half.

Brunell. Without his leadership and experience and thick skin, this team is nothing. Plus, he touches the ball every play and he only missed a quarter and a half all season. Pretty tough guy.

Here are the team awards I would give out:
MVP - Portis, for breaking the rushing record. He put the team on his back when we needed him to. He was consistent especially during the last five games. Runners up include: Mark Brunell, Marcus Washington
Offensive player of the season - Mark Brunell. To have a good offense, you must have a good quarterback. He was solid all year long. He made big plays, not only with his arm, but with his legs in some cases. He helped us tremendously. Runners up include: Portis, Santana Moss, Chris Cooley, Mike Sellers.
Defensive player of the season - Marcus Washington. He was a leader on the field. He made big plays that kept us in games. He was a great player all year long, never missing a game. Runners up include: Sean Taylor, Cornelius Griffin.
Special teams player of the season - Mike Sellers. Mike Sellers made plays all year on special teams. He recovered a fumble for us in the Eagles game. He was very good in coverage as well. Runners up include: the rest of the special teamers, mainly because they all made a big impact, but a particular player doesn't really stand out to me.
Rookie of the season: well duh, it's the only rookie that made an impact. None other than Carlos Rogers. He came on strong at the end of the season, filling in nicely for Walt Harris. He could provide a lot of help in the playoffs. Unfortunately he also got injured along the way. There are no runners up.

I had to go with Moss. Portis alone wasnt enough for us to win last year. We owe a lot of our wins to Moss' plays.
