Who Stops Us Now??diehardskin2982 01-02-2006, 12:22 AM I think we have the giants number... Seattle has a better chance than the Giants. The Bears will be the Giants in Chi-town Sheriff Gonna Getcha 01-02-2006, 12:23 AM I doubt our pass coverage will suffice; ESPN's John Clayton characterized Springs' injury as "significant," Rogers hasn't practiced in a month, and I doubt that Harris and Jimoh will be able to clamp down. However, unlike our last meeting, we have Cornelius Griffin back. Griffin will make an impact. Apparently, the Eagles respected Griffin enough to triple team him on a few plays. Gmanc711 01-02-2006, 12:24 AM Of course you cant forget the team that traditionally beats the Redskins more than any other team on the planet.... .....The Washington Redskins. We can't beat ourselves, because the level of compeition is that much higher right now. We make stupid mistakes and forget about it. diehardskin2982 01-02-2006, 12:28 AM I doubt our pass coverage will suffice; ESPN's John Clayton characterized Springs' injury as "significant," Rogers hasn't practiced in a month, and I doubt that Harris and Jimoh will be able to clamp down. Their running game is better than their passing game but by no means are they one dimensional. They can throw the ball too albeit that isn't their strength. 44deisel44 01-02-2006, 01:12 AM WE are on THE roll!!!!!!! I agree about Car.....We have beat the rest(TB cough cough) less film time for Gibbs and more time for GAMEPLANNING!!!! We've seen it and done that. COME ON SKINS FANS......DESTINY!!!!!!! oh wait, i forgot Gibbs has NO playoff experience.:Smoker: SouperMeister 01-02-2006, 01:29 AM I doubt our pass coverage will suffice; ESPN's John Clayton characterized Springs' injury as "significant," Rogers hasn't practiced in a month, and I doubt that Harris and Jimoh will be able to clamp down. Both Griffin and Taylor missed the last Tampa game. I'm hoping that their presense will allow the D to overcome our CB injuries. Also recall that Clinton had his best rushing game of the season at TB, so I look for Gibbs to go heavy on the run to control the clock, and minimize exposure of our backup DBs. Having the 6 seed and playing in Tampa looks a lot better than the 5 seed and playing in NY. skindogger47 01-02-2006, 01:50 AM We can lose to anybody on the road. We can also beat anybody. It's just a matter of execution and bounces. steveo395 01-02-2006, 02:24 AM as long as springs and rogers are back i think we can win...hopefully the inexperienced simms will choke in the playoffs...and the team needs to get back to the intensity they had in the dallas and new york games |
